Ski resort work is one of those jobs that inspire much awe and admiration from other people. This is because ski resort work provides the perfect reason for you to earn a living while playing around with snow. Aside fro this, ski resort jobs give people a good excuse to hone their skiing skills as well as meet people from different parts of the world. However, there is more to ski resort work than skis, snow and sun.
Work in ski resorts is made up of two parts – administrative work and field work. There are still subgroups under these two but, basically, those who are in the administrative group do not get to enjoy much of the snow while those who are on field do not get to experience much the warmth of an office.
If you are interested in a ski resort job but do not have the right skills to handle snowy slopes, then administrative work is for you. These includes ticket sales, first aid staff, resort front desk, and concierge. You can also opt to work as a ski shop staff, maintenance staff, and other service-related maintenance within the ski resort. These jobs are fairly easy and rarely call for heavy training.
If, however, you are after the thrill of riding the slopes, then you might want to consider a job as a ski patroller, snowboard instructor or a ski instructor. These skiing jobs require a series of trainings as well as a sound mind and body. Although it might seem like a “cool” job (pun intended), these posts actually handles a lot of responsibilities including ensuring that people are able to ski around securely.
While it sounds more fun to immerse yourself to ski resort jobs that will require you to work on the snow terrain, the latter is generally more rigorous than the former. Granted, you must possess an above-average skiing skills; but you must also know how to impart your skiing ability to beginners who look forward to improving themselves.
Ski resort work is actually an enjoyable one. It is one of the few jobs that could offer you the best of both worlds.

Snow Ski jacket bands for a teen?
i need a new snow Ski Jacket and need some brands.
i like fox (like the racing company), columbia, Agile, the North Face, and some other brands. I just need some ideas. If you can post a link to the websiet where the jacket is that would be great

You’ve already listed brands that you like so why not buy from them? In any case, here are some brands that are similar to the ones you’ve listed. Phoenix, Karbon, Spyder And if you’re looking for something a little more different, such as a rider jacket check out Orage. They have great jackets, but I have to warn you that they’re website isn’t leaves something to be desired. I would look out for it in the stores.
As for gloves, there are many brands that are both warm and good looking. I use racing gloves so I can name a couple of those brands: Rossignol, Spyder, Reusch, Head (some of which also make recreational, non padded versions). I also like the gloves endorsed by the american team, they’re stiffly padded and warm (racing only though).
Whatever brand you plan to buy, shop around anyway. I love to try on ski jackets mostly because of the features. I currently have an orage jacket with so many wonderful features such as a goggle squeegee and multiple pockets. Happy jacket hunting!
